With this one, I found that the hardware I'm working with is ill equipped to deal with more complicated 3D renders.
Appreciate it. This one took 8 hours to render. EIGHT HOURS.
...What can I sell to buy more laptop RAM...........

hum.. works with less lights and less objects are quicker to render :aww:

the work is good but probably would look better without the spheres and the taurus.. have you ever tried to do a pretty sky? looks always great :nod:

I'll admit I went a bit light ( and fire) happy, and I know that's why it took so long to render.
Skies are, most definitely, quicker =)
Still, this is only my second 3-D piece ever, and I'm not used to having so much space to fill up =P

Oh, wow. Your right, I do like it. The flames are sexy as are the metalic flying balls, and the glass arch (DONUT!) I really like the water effect and adding the flame (at least tats what i think it is) makes it look even better. Im not going to tell you to keep it up considering it takes eight hours but I really like this peice. Maybe when you get some more ram you can Keep at it :-D

adding fire as a second theme was an afterthought, but I didn't want to render it without....although i think that's what made it take so long....but I'm stubborn sometimes, and I suffer for it =P

Sometimes beauty takes time... even eight hours of time seems worth it. :-) course i wasn't on that end of things.

i like this. sometimes simple is all it takes. although all those hardcore 3d people out there will disaghree. it doesn't take perfection to be pleasing to the eye color scheme is easily as important :)
